Meet Our Adoptable Animals
Changes due to COVID-19: In 2020, due to safety guidelines, all “meetings” with cats were online and virtual. No contact pick-ups and drop-offs with safety protocols were arranged upon finalization of the adoption process. In 2021 – With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in NYC and vaccinations, our adoption alcove at NYC Pet in Park Slope at 218 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215 re-opened and those interested in adopting could meet the kitties in the storefront. Visitations are also allowed in the shelter in Queens. As well, many fosters allow in-person meets with covid-safety measures, although e-meets still remain the most popular. Please note – the Park Slope Adoption Center is currently closed from Jan 2022 due to HVAC issues at the store it’s housed in. Starting 2022, we’ve also started conducting outdoor Adoption Events (link)
