Meet Our Adoptable Animals
Changes due to COVID-19: In 2020, due to social distancing and other safety guidelines, all “meetings” with cats were online and virtual. No contact pick-ups and drop-offs with safety protocols were arranged upon finalization of the adoption process. In 2021 – With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in NYC and the phased re-openings of many services, along with vaccinations more common now, our adoption alcove at NYC Pet in Park Slope at 218 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215 opened and those interested in adopting can see the few of the kitties in the storefront. Visitations are also allowed in the shelter in Queens. As well, many fosters allow in-person meets if you’re fully vaccinated, although e-meets still remain the most popular.
Below are some of our many cats, kittens and the occasional chinchilla or rabbit available for adoption as featured on PetFinder.

Our kitty listings on PetFinder as seen below are also updated daily. In addition we may have other cats and kittens available in foster homes who are not yet listed.
Many of our available kitties are fostered in and around the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, NYC, while others are at our shelter and a few foster homes in Queens; however currently, due to Covid-19 restrictions, many meetings are virtual. But those at our adoption space in Park Slope inside NYC Pet on 218 5th Ave, you can meet the cats during store hours.
